NEW CLIENT CENTER

What can I expect on my first visit?

We will take a health history that will focus on discussing aspects of the injury presented and include physical palpation, take pulse, and other diagnostic methods.

The acupuncture treatment is typically a relaxing experience.  For chronic conditions which include pain, the needle may be attached to a very mild, comfortable electrical stimulation.

Once the needles have been inserted you rest on a comfortable table.  Many injuries include both primary injuries and compensation injuries.  It is very common to rest with needles for 20 to 30 minutes in a supine position and for 20 minutes in a prone position.

While needled, several body systems respond to the presence of needles.   Needles promote muscular system healing as endorphin and human growth hormone are up-leveled, blood vessels relax, and the nervous system is stabilized.  Properly placed needles used in conjunction with electro-stimulation are shown to dramatically reduce the healing time resulting from a broken bone.

In order to move you more rapidly toward your goals, we may recommend specific supplements, exercise, and/or dietary changes for your consideration.

Larry will discuss possible treatment plans to address your unique situation.  Chronic injuries may require a series of treatments to address the multiple muscular systems involved.
