A few suggestions: Things to do in Flathead Valley

Bigfork

Located on Bigfork Bay where the Swan River meets Flathead Lake. Fine restaurants, coffee houses, shops, art galleries and live theater.

Bigfork Riverbend Concerts

Summer concerts in Sliter’s Park, every Sunday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. $5.00 donation. Bring a chair. See the following website for the 2017 scheduled concerts.

Cherry Season

In late July and early August the sweet cherries that grow in abundance ripen. Lots of local fruit stands along the Flathead Lake. There are also orchards where you can pick your own cherries and raspberries.

Wayfarers Park

Located just sound of Bigfork, off Highway 35. The park has easy hiking trails, shallow swimming areas in the lake.

And, of course, Glacier National Park!
